Tower Hamlets Homes, Streets and Noise: What We See on Survey
Spitalfields has some of London's finest early Georgian houses, built for Huguenot silk weavers around Fournier Street, Elder Street and Folgate Street. Most are listed, with small-paned sashes, internal shutters and very shallow reveals, so secondary panels must be slim.
